A distillery and bar-restaurant in one, Shine Distillery & Grill is the first of its kind in Oregon and the 9th in the country. Their support-local philosophy extends beyond the craft spirits, beer, wine and menu. From walls painted in Portland-based Miller Paint to the linens sourced 9 blocks down the street, the building represents a feat of a community coming together to build something truly unique and distinctly homegrown.
This month’s guest speaker, Susan Bladholm, Founder/President of Frog Ferry, will provide an update on the potential to bring a safe and sustainable river-friendly public passenger ferry service to our region.
